One of the main reasons people tend to purchase synthetic rubber products is for its extra strength and added chemical, grease and oil resistance. Natural rubber with deteriorate when coming into contact with any chemical but, synthetic rubber is able to withstand most common household chemicals as well as grease and oils. This makes synthetic rubber products ideal for industrial uses where heavy objects and chemicals are often used and moved around.
